Another pattern from the same great op shop book find that this apron pattern came from .. a pattern for a girls wrap around apron. Meant for girls but hey, in the right fabric could work on a boy...or maybe not........
The back has ties that tie at the front and then the front ties at the back. Sounds simple.
Anyway I have scanned the pattern for anyone who wants to give it a go. I'm going to do one for Rose and Charlie to wear over jeans - more a top than an apron but I think it will look cute. By the way , the pattern is for sizes 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10 but it's a simple pattern and looks as though it could be easily scaled down to sizes 1/2 and 2/3.
What a great apron/top. I'll have a copy if that's ok?

This apron looks great!
Last week I got a pattern for a very similar one, wrap around from back to front and front to back, no sleeves though.
It's that kind of apron that's very often worn by elderly Japanese when shopping for food or when taking dogs for a walk. I thought of making one for me... to be worn on maybe every other occasion than the mentioned ones.
