yes, well....
Remember this canvas? This enormous empty canvas? Only a 8 days to go until it's meant to be complete for the Spring Fair. So what am doing?
Anything but working on that great blank space!
We have a lovely old Chippendale chair that sits quietly in the hallway. I did a very quick sketch the other day( top left corner) and scanned it into Photoshop where I had a bit of play. Straightened it up a bit to make it look like it just might stand up and then tried out a few filters.
I think I might have a go with the Gocco using this image.
After I finish the big canvas of course.Maybe I'll just paint an enormous red and green chair on it.
And then buy it myself.
Wish me inspiration!
Love the chairs... my sister has this big wood chair she glued tiny pieces of tile on.... its wonderful but SO heavy!

it took me ages to overcome the big white space of a canvas, until I divided it into smaller parts. maybe you could do lots of chairs. chairs with things on it. After all a chair has a purpose, it can tell a story, it is apart of your home. Chairs are wonderful structures to illustrate.
