a small book
20 smallpeople done...10 more to go until I reach the target number of 30....and yes, postcards are in the works. I hope to have a set of 4 or 5 of my favourites ready in a few weeks.I'll let you know when they arrive...
In between making smallpeople and doing some print design work, I managed to finish another small accordion book. It is a smaller version of this one, that I made for Damian at Christmas time. It is on its way to a new home and should arrive there shortly. I hope that the new owner enjoys it!
I am the proud owner of one of Julie's beautiful "wall necklaces" - a textured clay tile to make any wall feel special! Thank you, Julie for such a special gift....if you're lucky she might put some new ones in her shop soon. Now to decide where to hang it.....
A short while ago Amy who runs an Etsy store, sweet loveable goods, suggested a swap for some of my vintage wallpaper. I sent her some wallpaper and in return she custom made me three cute purse mirrors. I supplied the paper and images that I wanted and voila! mirrors! I had planned on giving them as gifts but now I'm rather tempted to keep them for myself.....
Can I ask you something? ometimes you do just sit STILL for a while, right??? You always seem to be soooo busssyyyy like a bee :) hahahahah that's why i must visit your blog all the time, or i will miss stuff!

These are all so lovely! The accordian book is gorgeous...such a great idea and I love the bird and different papers you've used. I also love the pictures you chose for those beautiful mirrors (I don't know if I could part with them either!) And I have never heard of a wall necklace before...beautiful to have hanging in your home, love the colour. Love looking at all these wonderful creations, have great weekend. Nel xo

what a beautiful accordian book- I think the new owner will be very happy indeed! I've long admired both the pocket mirrors and wall-necklaces so thank you for the links.
I am super-excited about about your work being available in postcard form, but however do you choose your favourites?!

Love that little red bird on the book and those mirrors, well, what can I say, she says, wiping the drool from the corner of my mouth. And lovely to see Julie's wall necklace. I thought they were really stunning.
